Nikon Coolpix 3100 Camera

Review:

Pros

1. Has many desirable features like 3MP, video out, only 2 AA batteries etc.
2. Nice looking and very small in size with good grip. Light weight too.
3. Uses [inexpensive] CF cards.
4. Easy menus and scene modes to use. Modes give you some control over what camera does.
5. Great macro pictures.
6. Night shots are very nice if used with tripod or some supporting surface.
7. Good manual, explains differences between the modes.
8. Has a very affordable accessory kit with case, batteries and fast charger here on Amazon.

Con's

1. Reliability is doubtful. Battery compartment door is very flimsy.
2. Movie mode is junk, no sound and movie sizes very small.
3. A bit thick, making it tougher to pocket.
4. No rechargeable batteries or charger in the box. And still costs more than it competition.
5. No AF assist light or manual mode.
6. One of the most expensive 3MP cameras. Esp since it has poor features and nothing bundled with it.
7. Slow to read/write to CF cards, manual recommends only Lexar/Sandisk cards. Aren't CF cards made to a standard?
8. Lens comes out even while downloading pics or reviewing them and never retracts while the camera's on. (Only way to keep it folded is to start in setup mode and then go to review pics.)
9. Low battery indicator not good, need to do a firmware update to fix it. to make it worse lens was stuck out even when it ran out of battery.

What Does Refurbished Phone System or Phone Mean?

What Does Refurbished Phone System or Phone Mean?

A refurbished phone system is one where the equipment has been lightly used before. You'll find that with a refurbished phone system, you can still expect optimal performance and a long-life span from your equipment. Another thing that you might not expect is that you can get plenty of name-brand phones from a refurbished phone system dealer. You can find brands like Avaya, Norstar, and Nortel, all brands that have staying power in the business world, and you will be able to see that they perform just as well as their reputations imply.
Whether you're starting your first business or needing to replace an older phone system, you need to explore all the options out there. While your first instinct might be to buy a new system, you'll find that this is not necessarily the best solution for you. A good phone system can help you grow from three employees to three hundred, and if you invest wisely, you'll be able to keep up with the fast changing world of communication and make sure that your business keeps pace, too!

You do need to go to reputable dealer for refurbished phones and phone systems, however. For instance, at simplyusedphones.com you'll be able to see that every phone goes through a 24-point checklist to ensure the used phone system is in good condition for resale. This check is extremely important and you can see that the phones are held to a high standard when they are turned over to customers. A refurbished phone system can be a terrific performer for you company, but keep in mind that you still have to make wise investment decisions!

One of the advantages of having a refurbished phone system is that it has a known lifespan and a known rate of durability. One thing to keep in mind is that the newest technology is not always the best; it is prone to bugs and faults. A refurbished phone system can help take care of this as it is a known quantity that can be expected to perform reliably.

These phones have also proven themselves to be quite sturdy, and you'll find that refurbished phone systems tend to have less problems than their brand new counterparts; many electric devices fail due to manufacturer error, and those faults are discovered in a few months of original shipping. This is not a problem for a refurbished phone system, and you'll be able to hit the ground running!

Do You Tweet? Making Extra Monthly Money with Twitter

Sponsored tweets has become a major money maker for people with loyal followers. In fact, John Chow was featured in the New York Times last month because of how he was making money from Twitter.

Recently he was paid $1,000 for making one tweet! The $1,000 tweet was given to him by Ad.ly, the newest player in the paid per tweet game.

Ad.ly brings together big name tweeters with big name brands, which is how they get the big payouts. Until recently, the only way you can join Ad.ly was to be invited. However, with the pending launch of their new self-serve ad system, Ad.ly is now accepting applications from smaller Twitter users. You can join here:
